Not sure whether it's head lice?
We'll carefully check the hair and scalp for live head lice and nits and explain what we've found.
£10 for each additional household member checked during the same visit.
If a full removal appointment is carried out immediately following the check, the £20 initial check fee is deducted from the treatment price.

Very long, particularly thick or heavily infested hair may require additional appointment time. If this applies, we'll discuss this with you before proceeding with any additional charge.
Follow Up Appointments
£45 per person
A follow-up appointment allows us to carefully recheck the hair and remove any remaining or newly hatched lice where required.
We'll advise you at your first appointment whether and when a follow-up is recommended.

More Than One Person?
Head lice often affect more than one member of a household, so we can check and treat several family members during the same home visit.
Family appointments are available.
Tell us how many people need checking or treatment when you book and we'll provide a clear price before your appointment.
This can often work out better value than arranging separate visits.

There are no automatic additional charges for clients with SEN, sensory sensitivities or additional needs. Wherever reasonably possible, we'll adapt the pace of the appointment and allow breaks to make the experience more comfortable.
Mobile Home Visits
Our prices include mobile appointments within Southampton.
We also cover Portsmouth, Winchester and surrounding areas. A small travel charge may apply to appointments further from Southampton, but we'll always confirm this before you book.

We'll always explain the expected price before starting your removal appointment and discuss any change with you before carrying out work that would cost more.
Head lice can be picked up again following successful removal, particularly through close contact with someone who still has lice, so we cannot guarantee against future reinfestation.
